Cumann na MBunscol INTO GAA Mini 7s

Saturday July 6th marked Day 1 of this year’s exhibition games. These games are almost a year in the preparation. County committees received details of the games at the September meeting in the Croke PArk Hotel. Mini 7's games and skills competitions started in October and it was great to see X full of the games (formerly Twitter!)

Since Easter excel documents and emails have been going from County Secretaries to our Mini 7's co-ordinator, letters have been sent to schools and families. Eventually after much anticipation the big day arrived and children and families arrived in the Barbara Ward Centre to start this seasons games.

Our thanks, as always, to the INTO for their continued sponsorship of the Mini 7's. We are also thankful to the GAA CC for their sponsorship and provision of tickets.

Well done to all the children who took part in Saturday's games. 40 children from all over IReland took to the pitch. Our two Young Whistlers came from Kilkenny.
