We are thrilled to announce the first ever Cumann na mBunscol /Gaelic Players Association Intercounty Players Coaching Day for primary school Hurling and Camogie players. This is a fantastic opportunity for our young stars to learn from top intercounty players and we invite schools from all over Ireland to take part!
Our guest coaches—the intercounty players who wear the county jersey—will be on hand to deliver elite skills sessions, tactical tips, and fun mini-games on the premium pitches at Faithful Fields.

This event is designed for players in 4th and 5th class, but we can also accommodate 6th class students and is for hurling and camogie players.

Schedule for the Day

10.30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. – Schools arrive - Please arrive fully togged and wear your school jersey. Upon arrival at Faithful Fields, school groups are welcome to convene in the main stand from 10.45 a.m. onwards.

11:00 a.m. sharp – Coaching commences (sharp)

12:15 p.m. -12.45 p.m. – Photos and autographs with intercounty players

12:45 p.m. / 1:00 p.m. – Event concludes
Important Requirements

Gear: Players should arrive fully togged out and wearing their school jerseys. Please bring your own hurls and helmets.

Supplies: Players should bring their own lunch and also their own water bottles.

First aid - Each school is responsible for the first aid of their own team.

Social Media - Photos and updates from the event may be posted online. If you prefer that your players not be featured, please email me in advance to let me know.
