AGM of Coiste na Mumhan   16/01/2020

The Annual General Meeting of Cumann na mBunscol Coiste na Mumhan was held in the Abbeygate Hotel in Ennis last Friday night.  Tomás Ó hAiniféin presided.  Cathaoirleach of the Munster Council Liam Lenihan was a guest and spoke in glowing terms of the great work teachers doing in promoting Gaelic Games among young players. He paid tribute to the work of the Coiste and spoke of the success of the Primary Game which has been a feature of Championship day in Munster since 1996.

 The Committee for 2020 is:

Leas Cathaoirleach: Dave Collins (Cork)

Runaí: Geraldine Behan (Ciarraí)

Cisteoir: Niamh O Dea (Luimneach)

PRO: John Manly (Tiobraid Árann)

Development Officer: Ann Marie O Gorman (Port Láirge)

Primary Game coordinator: Joe Lyons (Luimneach)

All Star hurler John Conlon welcomed the delegates to the meeting in his role as Chairman of Cumann na mBunscol in Clare. John is a teacher in St Aidan’s NS in Shannon. Clare GAA Chairman Joe Cooney also addressed the meeting.

The AGM was organised by Cumann na mBunscol an Chláir. Every detail was covered to perfection. The baton in Clare now passes from St Aidan's NS to Clarecastle NS.
