The girls of Christ the Redeemer P S win Camogie Crown in Antrim   14/05/2017


St John’s GAC was the venue for the Antrim Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Belfast Camogie League Final between Christ the Redeemer and Bunscoil an tSléibh Dhuibh.The sun was shining and the grass hill was filled with supporters from both schools finalists.The opening score came from Bunscoil an tSléibh Dhuibh with an excellent point from Duailtín Hall. C.T.R fought back hard and captain Aisling Hyndman scored two excellent goals towards the end of the 1st half.Bunscoil an tSléibh Dhuibh’s goalkeeper saved two fantastic shots in the opening 5 minutes of the first half however another two goals from Kayla Stanley and Sian McCluskey kept C.T.R in front.Midfielder Cara McCotter from Bunscoil an tSléibh Dhuibh fought hard in the middle of the field however it was C.T.R that took the title of the league in the end. Well Done to both teams.
