Antrim Schools pull off rare double at Ulster finals   13/04/2017

It proved a great day for Antrim Allianz Cumann na mBunscol schools St Patrick's Loughgiel and St Patrick's and St Brigid's PS Ballycastle as the lifted Ulster titles in hurling and Camogie.

At the Meadowbanks Arena in Magherafelt, the county champions from all 9 counties arrived to compete for the Ulster Cumann na mBunscol Indoor 5 a-side Camogie Title. Defending champions from Derry were in fine form and confident of retaining the trophy, however they didn't reckon on the well tuned camogs from Ballycastle who went undefeated throughout the tournament to lift the Provincial  honours.

In the hurling, St Patrick's Loughgiel didn't have it all their own way with a stiff defence of the title coming from the Derry champions. However the North Antrim Gaels left their best to last as they reached the final and lifted the Ulster Indoor Hurling Title with a confident display of scoring and defending.
